Mariah & another floptastic single with a video featuring Nick Cannon!

Mariah is busy prepping the third flop in a row from E=MC2, and the single choices just keep getting worse ("I Stay In Love"). Did they not get the memo that the era is OVER? They are just wasting their time and money.

I can't believe she's putting her husband in every video....ugh! And a few more square inches without cover and we're back in the Loverboy phase, clothing-wise. disbelief BUT I do give her points because at least that shit is not hot pink and there are no butterflies in sight (maybe they will add them in post-production).

I agree that I Stay In Love is not exactly a choice single but I gave up on this project along time ago so it's all a grain of salt or water under the bridge or whatever.

This song has been chosen as Mariah is the 'world hunger ambassador' or whatever it is for this year. And with every donation, you get to download the song for free.

As for nick cannon being in the video; he isn't. He's directing it.

Well Def Jam is on a roll, bad marketing, bad singles choices, bad videos etc....

This album was doomed from the first single/video, "Touch my body" was easily her worst single in her career, it was total garbage, just a bad fucking song period, the writing was terrible, the video was awful. And since then each single has been a bad choice, BYE BYE should have been nothing but a b-side, how many times is Mariah going to do a single like that and then make a totally self indulgent music video again. Third single, was an OK choice only if single 1 and 2 wouldnt have been the choices they made. As for this fourth one, yet again a bad choice.

Migrate should have been single number one, case closed.

Is a big dick actually, to quote a few people that worked with him at mTV on that horrid show he produced. Plus i question his commitment to marriage, given his past, and its a very recent past, he doesnt exactly have a clean slate. So mariah, someone who is usually very much ON HER GUARD with "players" (luis miguel being one) this relationship is one that makes you go WTF?

nod Agreed. Migrate should definitely have been her first or at least second single.

It should have been:

1. Migrate
2. I'm That Chick
3. I Wish You Well
4. Side Effects
5. OOC

Yeah i dont really get what is going on with these singles and the choices, i do remember right before the album came out Mariah was not pleased with the choice to lead off the album. But its really strange that early on when promoting the cd, she was performing "Migrate" as if it would be the next single, and then a few months ago she is on the Kimmel show, and performs "Side Effects" wtf is going on at Def Jam?? Maybe LL was right when he said " i helped build this thing and now its rotten to the core"

The Single choices for this album have been rubbish. There were so many good singles on this album as well sad

I'm going to have to disagree with you a bit about "Touch My Body" being the worst single in her career. "Loverboy" was far worse. "Touch My Body" wasn't the piece of crap you say it was, but it was a forgettable single, and frankly just about the entire album was forgettable save "I Wish You Well". Having said that, she should have released "Migrate" as the second single so she could have had at least a radio-bangin' track for the summer. Instead, she released a slow ballad which went nowhere and let upstarts like Rihanna and Katy Perry steal the thunder.

At least Loverboy had Cameo, and the Pop version is light years better than that version with Ludacris and that other rap chick that fell off the face of the earth. Plus the video was at least somewhat mature, as opposed to "touch my body" which was bad bad bad.

Say something was the best song and unlike anythhing she had done in a real long time, plus its one of her best videos too.
