Patrice Rushen - Now! This is another album I just recently downloaded and so far so great. I understand this was a departure from her jazzier music but this album rocks. It's got some nice synths on it and can be funky and new wavish at times. Get off and Superstar are my 2 faves so far but the whole thing is great. Anyone else know this album? | |

Yeah,I know this album.I found it on a recent vinyl dig 
Released in the summer of 1984,this album is notable for the two funky hits "Feels So Real (Can't Let Go)" and "Get Off (You Fascinate Me)".Patrice got REALLY funky on this album! There's also a wonderful ballad here,the dreamy "High In Me".This thread reminds me: I need to make a CD-R of this album! | |

Can never go wrong with patrice. I enjoy her Jazz work too, career wise the change of music was a good choice. One thing is for sure though she's super talented. | |
