I'm mainly familiar with his Malaco stuff from the early 1980s. However, there is one track in particular that I am dying to find (probably from the 1970s) but can't remember the name of the song. At the beginning of the song, there is a knock at the door and ZZ Hill asks...."Who is it".....the woman says....."It's Ethel".....he tells her to go away or something and then she says....."Open this damn door".....and starts crying....."Let me talk to you, I just want to talk to you". Andy is a four letter word.

I dont' have all of her albums, but I do have I need to invest in the rest of her catalog, but never can seem to find the time (or extra money). Malaco's stuff is not cheap and it's never on sale. BTW, she just released a new cd. It is a compilation of her ABC and MCA stuff. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

I'm not familiar with his UA recordings, the tune is cool. I will give his earlier works a try.

Staying with that theme... ...Love Is So Good (When You're Stealing It) Speaking of Denise LaSalle, Someone Else Is Steppin In is a song that she wrote which Z.Z. covered. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. I love both of their versions. I still get amused when I hear ZZ sing "I've got a new way of wearing my hair". **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-
