Teena does try to keep her personal life private as much as she can, but a lot of people, including myself, have seen her with other men before Rick and after Rick; we were just in the right place at the right time. Contrary to what some people believe, most of Teena's best love songs [weren't] about Rick James.


"Who is Peter?", you asked. Well he's Teena's "baby daddy" Teena has known him since she was 18; they met at Santa Monica City College. He's a very tall, muscular good-looking black man (Alia has his dark eyes and lips, but she looks more like her mom) From what I've heard, his family is from Barbados, but I'm not sure if he was born there. His father passed away not too long ago. Teena did for a while didn't want to tell who Alia's father was because she said she wanted to protect him, but way way before Rick died she revealed who her daughter's father was because she was getting tired of hearing people say that Rick was her father. Peter probably was getting angry about it because at every concert Teena mentions his name; his full name sometimes. I'm sure people who haven't seen him will very soon when his daughter becomes a big star, and I do believe she will be. I can see the paparazzi swarming all around them now; all up in their business. I am going to feel sorry for Teena because I know she hates that kind of attention. Alia is certainly different from her in that way. Just recently, Alia did her own show and when she came off the stage, Teena asked her how she felt about it. Alia said, "O! Mommy, I love it! This is my life!". Teena said Alia was all outside signing autographs and letting people take her picture. She said Alia loves that attention, but for her she rather hide in some corner somewhere. That is true because Teena can disappear guickly; like some magic door just opens up for her.
