I'm not implying anything. My post wasn't exactly cryptic.

What I know is true and what you believe aren't necessarily one and the same. I've never heard one American born musical genre that was completely without merit, even if they all do go through cycles - that includes hip hop.

I may have missed it, but I didn't see anyone claiming hip hoppers to be "musicians."

To each his/her own.
