I had a feeling it was "The Electric Company" just from the thread title.

I used to like the part where two people faced each other and one blew part of a word out of his mouth and the other person blew the other part of the word out to form one word. For instance.....fr-og....frog.

Me and a friend of mine always ended up saying....sh-it....shit. We were some foul mouthed little heaterns.

Public Broadcasting Service was/is the best in children television programs...those were the days.

I have seen remade version of zoom and man nothing compares to the original. but kudos to them for keeping kids in mind. I loved morgan on the Electric Company.
