I can't believe you compared her to Lena Horne. disbelief

And i hope ALL the people who said Radiohead was CRAZY for giving away their cd for free are looking in, they still managed to sell close to 2 million with no promo, no airplay, and the allbum was out for free first.

Who bought that fucking Duffy CD?

I saw her "sing" on SNL last week and couldn't figure out why someone didn't just kill her on the spot.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

An the Europeans and Japanese bought most of these..lololol.

I tell ya..

Nobody is selling CDs in the U.S. anymore for several reasons:

1) The "price-gouging" of CDs in the 90's (arrogance)

2) CD-burners

3) Videos. This is why MTV is showing less videos.. Who needs the CD if the 4 best songs from a CD has a video for free?

4) "Face Entertainers" MTV again. Models are being prepared as singers with no depth or art.

5) The Multi-media Entertainer = Singers/rappers trying to act, and actors trying to sing. The people are tired of seeing the same 5-15 people all over the TV.

It is obvious = The rappers and singers cannot act, and the actors cannot sing.

6) The bedroom and The boardroom "gatekeeper-ism" I used to not believe this was happening.. Someone who worked in the industry told tha this was going, but I laughed at him. I am still not sure... I feel tha tnepotism may be more of a problem for The Entertainment Industry in The U.S. over-all, but sex and homo-passes in Hollyweird have been going-on since the 1920s. It "feels" like it is happening fro some of the garbage that is being put on the public.

Good for REM, that was one of the best albums of the year, and it shows how "relevant" the US is in the grand scheme of artists and how they market and now it seems how they tour, the US is dieing a slow death, REM's album sold about 250,000 here and a million overseas, why would anyone do the "lump" of their promo here at this point?
