You could have tacked the song onto the end and not written about it. Then as people listened and expected the mix to end, another songs suddenly pops up! People would have been all like "wha's dis???" SURPRISE! Oh no, I couldn't be like everyone else and disrespect your wishes! I think Huey got more upset about the rules being broken than me.

Well all the viciousness over it by some in the project put the fear in me and once I want something I will find a way to get it! I better get an A for creativity! 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

Richard, I've tried but I can't seem to work my way through your 'masterwork' here, without losing focus. I admire your enthusiasm & personal connection to this music, but for me it's just too subjective.Maybe it is because I experience music totally different than you do. I enjoy music very much just because it's there, and I can not imagine it not being there. Ofcourse, not all music is good. But the music that is good for me, is good for a reason that I rather leave unwritten/unspoken....just because it's there. It's like soccer: I know soccer is not that big in the US like it is here.....over here, television seems to find it necessary to analyse evry single move in a game.....it bores the shit out of me! Why? Because the game was there, you either liked it or not....
Ofcourse, there are personal & emotional connections to music and I choose to keep those for myself.....I am amazed that you are able to write everything down, more power to you! For me, it's just not my thing. My mix will be containing songs that I thoroughly enjoy and can listen to again & again. I ill not write page-long stories about them, I find it no use.....you like 'em or you don't! Just my 2 cents!

I would dig it if someone gave me such a preview. People are free to look and free to ignore. I don't experience music from the sound of it. I experience the totality of it, including lyrics so if you can't be bothered, I'm sure there are naked chicks in GD for you to worship 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740
