Kraftwerk-"Tour de france" question

Any hardcore "Kraftwerk" freaks out there?

I was wondering about the "Tour de france" track
Kraftwerk released as a single 1983.

There seem to be so many versions released it's a jungle.
What version is heard in the movie "Breakin'" ?

Also,it was never released on cd until 1999.
Is there any difference in the cdversions from the
ones that was released on vinyl back in '83?

Here's a clip of the one used in "Breakin'"

Why is not this song included on the soundtrack??
and how do I get this version cuz the ones I heard
is not exact like this smile

cool

That's a special edited version of the remix of this song, for the movie. Not sure if it's 3:00 12" vinyl version on the EMI label or it maybe the 3:50 promo 7" vinyl version on the WB label.
You may have luck finding the movie soundtrack on disc for this version,

Do you remember the 10-Speed version of this song.

"Breakin'" then and not "Kraftwerk"?

The version you are looking for which is in the breakin movie IS by Kraftwerk.

Its the "Francois kavorkian" mix that you are looking for.

In the Breakin' movie, they use an edited version of the Francois Kavorkian mix,
and I don't think this shortened mix is available anywhere, but you can probably make it yourself by editing the Long Francois kavorkian mix thats available.

The 10 speed cover version is not in the Breakin' movie.

The original Kraftwerk Tour De France (Francois Kavorkian Mix) is in the movie in that scene. So just get the Francois Kavorkian mix and you will be sorted!

I haven't seen "Breakin" in years, but if I remember correctly, the version of "Tour De France" that was played in that movie was the dub version of this 12 Inch, which I have at home. Well, I call it the dub, it may be called something else. Anyway, it's the version on side B.
