Floetry does great, but Michael's version wins easily. Michael's vocals there are arguably his best on Invincble. Also Michael's version the music production and added instrumentation overall is more finished, Michael's has an added horn section during the chorus and more strings. The first chorus in the song Michael's is that much more powerful vocally even the high F note in falsetto later on, Michael does excelllent.

I love Floetry's version, it gives me chills, but I love Mike's even better. More passion in the vocal performance. nod

Hearing Floetry's demo makes you realise how little Michael had to do with that song. The elements were all there. Michael just came in and sang. His musical contributions were negligible.

I never liked this song in any version, but Floetry's voice is shit, so even a sub-par MJ vocal is better than that.

This remix with Eve was amazing. I love how the Trackmasters did it. I love how they utilized the Isaac Hayes sample.

I think Andre Harris added the horns and strings in there. MJ added the vocals so technically he was giving a producer's credit since he agreed to do the song. When I first heard it I bugged out like "wow, MJ doing a 'neo-soul' song"... I still love the song anyway.
