Will Ashanti go away for 2 minutes? Damn i know the b*** getting tired of being around...
After her cruel use of Biggie's "One More Chance", I thought she would be out of the way, and she would lose credit. I liked her at first, but when I saw her live... 
She could'nt stand in those heels very long, girl look like she was about 2 trip and fall She cannot sing live, Im sorry, but the music was drowning out her voice on seperate occasions...labelling her basically as a studio artist only. and third...The girl just cant move in the heels! 
anyone else also tired of seeing her? Hearing her? Where my girl Lil Mo'? I know her abum sucked, but she is a great backing vocalist! Straight Jacket Funk Affair

Not owning a television I hadn't actually seen any videos with this girl until today up at my neighbors house...
The song, the video, everything pretty much forgetable because this particular video (forget the song title) featured my girl NIA LONG...man did she steal the show from this Ashanti person... I JUST ABSOLUTELY LOVE NIA LONG...don't know why...she's just, so, um, fuck I don't know...I just love her...ever since lovejones & Friday I guess. I should start a NIA LONG thread...

I love Aaliyah's "I care for you" sooo much better than Baby by Ashanti but of course with no Aaliyah promoting it via video...it's not getting the response it should it. don't you hate that a video makes a song nowadays?  | |

I'm glad that they have Beyonce playing the durgged out one on Sparkle, I would like 2 c her like that in a movie, Halle Berry did it more than once, and she is totally astounding personally & beautifully. I'm not a guy, but hell no. Ashanti is only getting the pub because Aaliyah passed. I'm not a fan of Ashanti myself, but you gotta remember that, that Biggies one more chance, came from DeBarge, and that Baby is the gap band, but Murder Inc. whole game plan is about sampling. Shit, Ja Rule tried to use pop life, but Prince wasn't havin' it. | |
