Busta Rhymes asking Britain's High Court for rap rights at 10:16 on September 26, 2008, EDT.
By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS LONDON - Rapper Busta Rhymes says he will ask Britain's High Court to rescind a government order that would prevent him from playing a charity concert. Immigration officials stopped the rapper on Thursday at a London airport and said he was not allowed into the country because of previous legal difficulties in the United States. Concert promoters say a judge ordered his release. But he still cannot perform. The concert is a charity gig. People who had completed four hours of volunteer work were rewarded with a concert ticket. Rhymes says in a statement that he was in Britain to put on a show for the volunteers and that he hopes to be on stage Friday as scheduled. ©The Canadian Press, 2008 Rap rights??? wha????
