I know this one. It's from the 1975 'Mahogany' movie soundtrack. It became an underground disco classic.Jermaine has another great song on that soundtrack...it's called "She's The Ideal Girl".I found this album on a recent vinyl dig.

I find it weird that his bros left Motown to write and produce their own material, yet Jermaine (in the same year his bros were battling Motown) produced and wrote a few tunes for the Mahogany SDT. PRINCE: Always and Forever

I bet that Berry Gordy used the 'Mohagany' project as a way of making Jermaine stay with Motown.... "Yeah Jermaine...we're gonna start shooting this major motion picture pretty soon, and I could sure use some new music for the soundtrack. This movie is gonna be HUGE....dont'cha wanna be a part of it?! I'll let you write and perform a few tracks. It's gonna be wildly successful. You'll become a superstar!"

I know the song a few years now but I always thought JOE Jackson has written it.
