Listening now. I am up to 'Hard on My Love". Musically the album sounds great, but a lot of it already sounds like The Evolution which is quite disappointing.... www.maximum-jackson.com

I don't think it sounds so much like Evolution but I may need to listen to it more since a few people have expressed the same thing. It's a little too midtempo for me but I like what I've heard. Oh and he needs to stop smoking. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

Yeah, actually, I am really disappointed with it. It sounds like a lounge album. Quite boring. I really was expecting "something else" being such a big fan of Mr. Thicke. But there's nothing else in it, except maybe the use of real instruments, which is what RT does anyways.
Yeah a lot of the vocal style and a few of the songs sound just like Evolution. There's some change in his voice- his falsetto doesn't sound as rich as Evolution and Beautiful World. Best tracks are Magic and Hard on My Love. Really pissed off. I was expecting so much more. www.maximum-jackson.com

CD Universe is selling this CD with a slightly different tracklist. It doesn't include the song "Tie My Hands" (with Lil Wayne) but it includes three other songs not listed above: "Lay Down" "Round Two" "Stranger" Could this be a special edition? In a recent interview,Robin mentioned that he was considering making "Tie My Hands" a bonus track.

He's doing press junkets on all the radio stations for it. I heard him play some songs live on the Steve Harvey morning show, it sounds pretty decent.

definitely one of my favourite soul realeases thus far this year. i will have to wait for anthony hamilton to also drop. i also like the work he's done on jennifer hudson's debut album with the track"giving myself".

a mixed-bag, the up-tempo stuff is very good and the mid tempo stuff is repetitive for the most part "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

On first listen, it's good but not great. I don't think it compares to either of the first two albums. "You're My Baby" is a poor man's "Would That Make U Love Me" (my favorite Thicke track), but that alone is enough to make it the album's best song. I still love "Magic," but the only other standout is "Cry No More." That being said, I have a feeling I'll warm up to some of the other tracks upon further listening.
