I'm not sure, but far be it for me to deny the fans some J.Lo news.

Remember back in the day, at the height of Jennifer's music career, when there were whispers about a tour?

Well, it looks like Jennifer's stateside fans had better count their blessings, and their coins, that a tour never materialized because apparently chick is a disaster on stage.

Over the weekend, the new mom decided to take her act on the road appearing in Athens Greece, of all places, to bless her Greek fans with a show. But look at what an eyewitness had to say.

Gates were supposed to open at 5:30 pm, they opened at 8:00 pm
People were waiting outside in the rain the whole time
J.Lo started rehearsing at 7:00 while people were still outside the hall
J.Lo got on stage at 9:50 pm (the opening artists were mediocre Greek performers who sang in total less than 30 mins, meaning another 1 and a half hour of waiting in the hall)
J.Lo sang for only 55 mins!!
Ticket prices were: 60 Euro the cheapest (about $90 for the lamest area in the hall) and the most expensive was 250 Euro (about $365)
A lot of Greek media dissed the event

J.Lo had canceled last minute her mini tour 2 years ago, which included Athens.

That's pretty bad!

Imagine if J.Lo tried to pull that ish over here with all that we are dealing with. Mama would've gotten handled!

Note to all entertainers; if you're not ready to give a real show right now then I suggest you don't fool with it period!

With the economy being as effed up as it is right now, I know nobody's trying to waste their money on no bullsh*t.

I think it's pretty safe to say that Jennifer's recording future is about over. And Lord knows that her acting career is on its last leg, too.

speaking of J-Lo,whatever happened to our very own Chico?! He used to post here all the time.

Most people who are honest would have realised that the only reason she got anywhere near a recording contract is because of her "celebrity".

It is a travesty that people like her who can afford to do most anything they want, are allowed to indulge their interests by those companies that have no interest in maintaining any semblance of integrity.

All of this done at the expense of artists who actually have a craft to be celebrated.

We will continue to lament the music world each and everytime someone like this is allowed the privilege to perform music.

Oh well.....maybe when the bottom-line is impacted the companies might change the way they operate.....

Good points BUT the bigger blame is people, the public allowed the merger of media, and the likes of Prince,Madonna,Janet and Michael were front and center for that and deserve alot of the blame because they made things like Mtv which got the ball rolling

1) She's not that talented. Sure, she can dance, but that's it. Who in the world told her she could sing? Her husband can though.
2) Her ass got her where she is. It's even speculated that it's not even real.
3) No one knew who she was until she was with Puffy. I didn't know she was a fly girl on in living colour. I watched it all the time. I saw some VH1 or MTV special that said that she was the reason for puffy success. That's a crock of you know what. He was on the scene before she blew up.
4) I think people are finally seeing that light. She isn't all that, never was. Now if only people could see that Rihanna ain't all that, then I'll be happy. No offense to her fans.
