The late Composer/arranger keyboardist Michel Colombier worked and arranged for so many artists -- Just a few: Prince (Purple Rain -incidental soundtrack), Herbie Hancock, Madonna, Quincy Jones, Jaco Pastorius, Joni Mitchell, Barbara Streisand, Branford Marsalis, Jean Luc Ponty, Earth Wind and Fire, Johnny Mathis, Brenda Russell, Herb Alpert, Paul Williams, Roberta Flack, Supertramp, Bobby Mcferrin, Lee Ritenour, Dave Sanborn, Airto, Flora Purim, Michael Brecker, Ernie Watts, Rodney Franklin, etc.... El Solitario was originally from Colombier's classic double album, "Old Fool Back On Earth"-- it was then used as part of the soundtrack to "Against All Odds". -Around the same time, it was given to Earth Wind and Fire--their version, with lyrics, was called "We're Living In Our Own Time"...
