So one of my favorite bands is Third Eye Blind. They're working on their first new album since 2003. They're currently recording it and letting fans in on the process.

The album will come out in 2009. Between now and then, fans will get the chance to make their own remixes to the songs. They will pick the best mixes and release an actual 'Remix' album.

At the link you can find the 6 parts of the song (lead vocal, guitar, etc.) and make your own mix.

I think this is really weird, but also neat. I don't know if its been done before. I'm also relieved to finally hear studio music from these guys.

It's a nice song

INXS did this same kinda thing like 4 or 5 years ago and nobody cared.
I'm glad to see Third Eye Blind back...anything that bares the history
of late 90s (pre-Britney Spears) I'd probably getting "semi-charmed" excited about. (No pun intended)

Seriously though, "Semi Charmed Life" and "Jumper" were amazing back in the
day and hold up well 10 years later.
