Howard Jones doing what EVERY artist needs to do

Howard Jones one of the best 80's artists, and YES still records, in fact he's one of the best piano players ever. He is set to play a special 25th anniversary concert in the uk at the site of his first uk show, but the unique thing is, that the concert performance, will be available for purchase as a 3cd set right after the show, or for download from his site. Every artist needs to WAKE UP on this idea, it can be done, and not just by Pearl Jam.

No, but its smart because your loyal fans want as much as they can get, beat the bootleggers, this is something bands never could do, especially Prince, he missed the boat on this. He preached about "bank", imagine the "bank" he would have if he would sell his shows right after the event.

Bands have been doing this for awhile, and Pearl Jam isn't even the first.

Most record companies put the kabosh on it pretty quick though as they say it eats up their profits.

...

I Love it when Howard is just alone at the piano!
For example, this LiveAid performance was probably the most understated and underrated moment of the show....

Howard is one of the most underrated artists from the 80's, still continuing to release good albums, tours, his playing is top notch.

I feel bad for the 80s teens lol and I don't know what goes into their heads when they see their 80s pix. My older sister looked like a broke ass Meli'sa Morgan with a clown 1/2 faced make-up.

I have a pic from '97, I looked a HOT in the summertime mess doh! boxed and I thought I looked ghetto fabulous @ the time lol

My mother was the ONLY woman among us who had style, even then. She rocked the Jackee quaffed 'do with the thick ass red hoop earrings but she was STILL fabulous, honey

Oh man, sistas made some WIIIIILD fashion statements in the 80s. And I'm not talking about the cover girls, I'm talking about your 'round-the-way dames esp the ones living in Qeeuns, Bronx and Harlem,,,,boooy disbelief they were all the RAGE! disbelief lol

The name of the site was DiscLive I think. I bought a bunch of Pixies gigs. Now they're just collecting dust on the shelf.
