George's thang isn't for everybody. And it's ALWAYS been like that. Not just NOW. You either dig George or you don't. P-Funk isn't E,W & F. Hell now, E,W & F isn't even E, W & F. But my point is, even when George's thang was on point, u still had a mob of people who couldn't fuck with it. Cuz they couldn't relate to it. And as far as seeing the All Stars live, which I have numerous times, since the 80's, yeah, it does take awhile before George even steps foot on stage. Which is fine by me cuz the band is rocking hard anyways. Granted, the attitude from the band members has been for years "jaded". So yeah, after damn near an hour, u may see some glimmer of excitement from cats here and there but these dudes play this shit sooooo much and have played it for sooooo long and none of them are kids, you're going to get that. But it's STILL killin'. But I'm partial to them cuz I'm a Funkadelic baby for life. I'm one of the Children of Production.
