My God I haven't heard this song or seen this video since I was a kid! lol I forgot how cool Alexander O'Neal was back in the day. He was the man and this song is proof. God how I love the Minneapolis Sound. Going back to iTunes now!

I'm on a Tabu kick
since I came in this thread
after work...

I just finished the High Priority
album (of Cherrelle's)
and now I want to hear Fragile

or maybe I might play some
SOS Band or suhn...

because those who mind don't matter
and those who matter don't mind."

wow... I was just telling caramel (over there)
how Fragile was my fav of the Cherrelle albums
because of the balladry...
but listening to High Priority (just moments ago)
in full... I think I may have to do a compare/contrast
with these two...

I still don't know which is
my fav TABU project though
because with all the ones I own
I don't like ALL of the songs featured

but with High Priority
I liked it all the way through
"be who you are and say what you feel
because those who mind don't matter
and those who matter don't mind."

Yeah, in many ways, High Priority set the template to which Janet Jackson's Control followed.

I can agree there wink

what's your fav SOS Band album?
mines is between III
and Just The Way You Like It

III gets the edge automatically
because of "High Hopes"
how can you resist that groove?
and also because of "Have It Your Way"
"be who you are and say what you feel
because those who mind don't matter
and those who matter don't mind."
