I am a fan of Pink Floyd, old an new.
It is sad.

"And you run and you run to catch up with the sun, but its sinking
And racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in the relative way, but youre older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death"

And then Richard:

"Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time
Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the english way
The time is gone, the song is over, thought Id something more to say"

RIP

Thank you esa for the wonderful tribute you played to Richard Wright. What a wonderful artist he is, was, and will always be. Hopefully he has realized the number of people his music has touched so deeply and perfectly.

Rest in peace beautiful soul.

I'm glad you could tune in, benni - and PsychedelicGoof wink, et alii.

It was a beautiful celebration of a wonderful artist and his work, which I'm glad we could share.

I'm also glad that we blew the schedule and continued untill 8:00pm - 4.5 hours of non-stop Pink Floyd. cool

PS - Here's a link to a good tribute article in The Independent:
