She still had a lot to learn in this period. My friend Femi was her tour guitarist for awhile and I saw her quite a few times around this period thinking "This Girl's got something".

She is quite an underrated Guitarist and her vocals are a lot more consistent to the latter day Amy.

It is kinda sad 2 watch... yet poignant...

Tried many flavours - but sooner or later, always go back to the Purple Kool-aid!

She plays on pretty much every track on the first album - and that's jazz/pop orientated to give an indication of what she CAN do...

OK, I'm sold. Gonna go get it (though it might just make me sad at this point)

yeah, sad. You can argue she's overrated, over talked about, stupid, pathetic, but the fact is she was doing good music, and the world needs that desperately!

It's saddening to see this... she is SO incredibly talented! I truly hope she gets help and gets well

Anyone know how she's doing these days?

She recently put in a bid for a house in the British countryside...I remember what it was like to be young, reckless and living in a party central kind of neighborhood...sometimes getting out of that sort of environment is healthy for a young person and actually helps with making calmer, more reasonable life choices.

She's still pretty out of it though...it's also dismaying to see her father play the part of "enabler" the further she spirals into the abyss.
