Of course. Sadly a lot of people actually took this song seriously and still hold a grudge against Newman to this day. I think it's just a really humourous, infectious song. You can't argue with that beat. In the '70s they really knew how to record sound so it sounded impeccable. And of course, Newman is one of the best songwriters of his generation. This song's hilarious. lol

He edited the title The Christ, as he is now convinced Jesus did not die on a cross, but a stake. Besides that, he does no longer seem to condone the the image of a cross as a way of worship.
And he does not celebrate Xmas. So Another Lonely Christmas is OUT.
