LL's "Exit 13" is pretty damn good album.. Despite having 19 tracks (way too many for anyones album), this album, which is LL'c last for DefJam, and alsohis last for awhile as he put it, its actually his best in a real long time. You get the typical with songs like "baby" but the tracks that make this cd good, are the kick off track "its time for war" which are some of his harshest lyrics, comparing Hip Hop now to a "slaveship", also great is "Ringtone Murder" amazing track, very oldschool, and the last track "dear hip hop" reads just like a "get your shit together or your finished" type song. All in all his best since "mama said knock you out" "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

Absolutely too long it's more like two albums but I like it.
I love Get Over Here and Ringtone, UR Only A Customer (surprisingly) Feel My Heartbeat is hot and a few other tracks. I like the nasty songs but I miss this type of LL and I think a lot of the rhymes are hot. And I can understand every single word... Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

I still cant get the popularity of LilWayne, or even the respect, I mean what the hell is saying? People will say he's too old, but i mean what rapper is going to have a catalog in the future like LL has, i mean who the hell is going to have that amount of records and put in that amount of time. As with everyone for me, i need lyrics and alot of times a hook of some sort, and when i say "hook" i dont mean a catch phrase or a "ringtone" but a constructed "hook" not many new artists know how to do this, in any genre "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

I don't care how old he is as long as the music is good. I agree about the hook. He's one of the last and few I still dig. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

I was going to ask about this one. I heard the samples and it sounded real good. It's only $9.99 on Itunes (and most likely elsewhere the first week) and they offer a bonus track, but it sounds awful and samples "New York, New York" for the chorus....uh, that sounds awful on several levels!

I found mine at Target for $9.99. That New York New York song I didn't need. It sounds like a reject track. maybe the full song is better but I'd rather find out thru YouTube or something. The 19 cuts on the physical disc were enough for me. I heard his mixtape, Return of the GOAT is pretty good too. I'm going to listen to that later.
