This was just before Britney's dad stepped in and took control, she'd just had a huge fight with Sam Lutfi (who had been drugging her) and she bolted from her house with her puppy and a bag.

I want to seriously maim the paparazzi scum in this video asking if they can help her, while helping her FALL.

This video is the sole reason I will NEVER EVER stand up for anyone's supposed "right" to stalk a celebrity.

This is NOT part of any game. This is just human cruelty and greed.

Good for Kanye. These stars that are rich enough to be followed around by TMZ shouldn't worry about a little old ticket for bustin' up one of their cameras. If I were that rich, I'd totally budget myself a yearly paparazzi freakout.

I'm guessing that people who are siding with the paparrazi on this have:
a. never actually seen them follow a celeb around live and up close
b. are paparazzi themselves or aspiring to be
or
c. simply don't like Kanye and are glad to see him get a little grief in his life (as if losing his mom not too long ago wasn't enough)

Either way, you're outta your minds if you think its as simple and innocent as them just walking around taking pictures. There's almost always antagonization involved. That "they are celebs and its part of the job" shit is something the press made up and repeats it so that the idiotic general public will regurgitate it and absolve them of any wrongdoings when they stalk these people. His job is to produce and perform music. That's it. Posing for pictures is a courtesy, not a requirement. They don't want the posed for pics anyway, they want the unflattering ones.

nod I think it's absolutely disgusting what the hard core paparazzi is capable of. People have already died trying to escape from them. They shouldn't be allowed to stalk celebrities like they do. Lock them up and throw away the key neutral
nod In the early 80s one of theses bastards even took the picture of the dead son of the late Austrian/French beautiful actress Romy Schneider.

Why would he act like that at an airport.

IF you're in public you can be photographed and videotaped. That's just how it is. You may not like it...but you can't destroy people's property and attack them -- and in a high security/high-risk place like an airport? Stupid as hell.

Didn't some of Prince's goons steal a kids digital camera at an airport once after he took pics of P?

Maybe i imagined that. lol

I totally understand Kanye. Those fucking paparazzi are total losers! It would disgust me to know I bring this loser thousands of money just because he takes apicture of me. I think Kanye should do that more often!
On the other side he will be in every news now, and millions more will see images of him from the airport.
But why don't celebrities cover themselves up? With umbrellas left , right, behind and in front that people cover over you noone will reckognie you!

BK, the paparrazi is a PAIN in the ass no question about that.
But there are 2 things that anyone is the public eye should know.
1. They come with the territory
2. They are NOT going away
3. Learn 2 deal with it.
4. 1-3 are FACTS.

Wow, that Bjork clip is great! Did she get arrested too?

You never know what a person is going through. It's bad enough celebs have to get up and go out into the world where people recognize them, they don't need random photogs chasing and snapping away at their most basic life functions.

Posted on Kanye’s Blog today: We back in the lab!!! I’m cool with the paparazzi. This guy wasn’t cool. I gotta work now… I’ll rant later!

Well, the paparazzi are enabled by the entertainment industry and celebrities seeking to cultivate their own "reality-based" profile. It's nothing new in Hollywood.

But what may have changed is our appetite for this stuff. It's really gotten big. Whether we buy US Magazine, OK!, People, or surf TMZ, MediaTakeOut, or Bossip, or watch ET or E!, we consume this stuff. If we ever gave it up, most of these guys would be buffing floors.

The business is like prospecting or wildcatting way back when. It's so wide open the competition is fierce. And gets fierce.

All I have to say about this is Kayne needs to seriosuly chill - you just dont do this. Period. Yes the paparazzi (especially TMZ) are a bunch of stalkers and do things that should be illegal but come on Kayne

I immediately thought of Prince - who has been hounded by the press for years and you have never seen him do this nor would you. He is just smarter than Kanye and has better body guards and security.

He was arrested which he deserves for acting like a child

The night that Prince didn't show up for the We Are The World recording session his bodyguard ruffed up a photographer... he even sings about in the song Hello..

I was sittin' pretty with a beautiful friend (“Oh darling”)
When this man tries 2 get in the car
(“Hey Prince, come on, give us a smile, eh?")
No introduction, “How've U been?”
Just - "Up yours! Smile, that's right, U're a star!" (Star)

U call 'em bodyguards but I call 'em my friends
I guess I'm used 2 havin' 'em around
And cameras by nature like rewards
That's the trouble I get when I'm Uptown

UPDATE: Kanye West In Hawaii, Witness Says Paparazzi “Attacked” Rap StarAfter yesterday’s arrest at Los Angeles airport, LAX, both Kanye West and his road manager, Don C, have been released on $20,000 bail and are currently in Hawaii.

According to the Associated Press, West left an LA police station prior to being booked where he was escorted by an assortment of umbrellas to help prevent gathering photographers snap shots of the rap star.

Leaving in an all-black Chevrolet Suburban truck with a license plate that read “DIVA,” both men were immediately escorted by police to a private jet flight traveling to Hawaii. Although West resisted giving reporters an official statement, he did inform fans of his current situation via the renowned blog.

“We back in the lab,” he wrote. “I’m cool with the paparazzi. “This guy wasn’t cool. I gotta work now… I’ll rant later!”

As previously reported by SOHH, the multi-platinum selling rapper was arrested for vandalism at LAX yesterday morning when he reportedly attacked and broke a paparazzo’s $10,000 camera.

In addition to Ye’s arrest, C was also arrested on charges of vandalism and battery while both were taken immediately to a Los Angeles police station.

While reports from media outlets claim Ye overreacted, a witness from the incident saw things differently. LAX charity donator and provider Charles Davis said the superstar was “attacked” by the cameraman and West “just defended himself.”

“I talk to him all the time,” Davis told AP. "He's a very nice gentleman. Very nice. He gives good donations to help children. He's got a good, kind heart. I've gotten his autograph several times. I just don't see why he was arrested. The man just put the camera too close to his face. I don't blame him.”
