Isn't the album out in the UK and Japan now? Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

Ever since you made the Lovesexy connection, I can't think anything but that. It's a great thing though, since it's just about my favorite album. Too bad that era in Prince's career isn't more influential, cuz I'd love to hear some more Lovesexiness in my favorite artists, please.

No, as in her last name. Her father and all of the Joneses are deeply religious and really gave Grace a hard time about her worldliness and career choice. The song to me seems to be addressing one of the more private and painful memories of her youth.

OK I think I wet myself for the first time over MS Jones. That was fantastic, wierd, creepy LOVES IT. I am not a big fan of hers, I like a few of her songs, but albums like Scary but fun are ok at best. And a lot of her older material is sort of cold and stark. But I do love this. LOVE IT! Is any of it biographical like marrying a priest and getting married at 17 or the grandpa traveling with nat king cole? Is this about her mother or her??? I love this song SO MUCH 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

i read in an interview that "william's blood" is largely about her father and is lyrically a very stark and autobiographical song.
"love you to life" is about a friend of hers who was in a coma (and eventually came out of it).

I'm still not 100% sure what is happening with the release of this album and if there is an official US release or not, but I ended up ordering something with the name "Hurricane" from Grace Jones at Tower.com...Tower is crazy cheap and does the same thing with shipping. I went on kind of a mini Grace shopping spree. I ordered "Hurricane", "Nightclubbing", "Warm Leatherette" and her movie "Vamp". Everything was very cheap, including "Hurricane" which was $14 something compared to everyone else selling the cheapest edition for $18.98! The total for everything was $28.04!
