i love suede! sci fi lullabies is probably my favorite but the first record and coming up are two excellent records, also. i miss that whole brit pop scene...suede, blur, oasis, stone roses...so much fun! I'm not a huge fan, but I did (& still do) really love the second half of dogmanstar. Bombastic music usually doesn't lift my skirt, but for whatever reason I really love all those overblown, melodramatic epics on that record. | |

I love their music since the first record. To me, they were the best band in the 90s.
Brett Anderson just released his second solo album "Wilderness". It is just him on piano and a cello player. Sounds very different from Suede but I highly recommend it to anyone who likes him. The songs A different place, The Empress and P. Marius are really stunning. | |
