I had been hearing a bunch of teens talk about Tokio Hotel for some time, but never heard a single thing by them or even knew what they looked like. When I saw them, I had to double take because I thought Bjork had a new band. He could be her twin brother.

I just saw dude on TV tonight, and I thought the same thing.

They have been huge in Germany/Austria/Switzerland for I guess 5 years or so . Their very first single was their biggest hit overhere which was on number one in the charts for a long time when they were still in school and about 15 years old. Their fans are little girls mostly who fall in love with the lead singer or his twin brother.

Oh and he looks nothing like Björk IMO.

I a from Germany and here TH is the biggest band around. And it will be GREAT publicity for them to have gained such a price, considering German bands never achieved that before!!

Well, they are famous since 2005 and Bill (the lead singer) is Tom's twin brother (Tom = lead guitarist). The other guys are called Gustav and Georg.

In fact they may be Germany's biggest import act ever. French schoolgrils want to learn German at school just to understand what Bill sings.

Don't wonder, I AM NOT A FAN, it's mostly teengilrs who listen to them, but yo can't get away from them.

But I like the fact that a German act can be so successfull.

he doesn't look like bjork. he looks like a cross between a generic anime hero character and kate jackson from 'charlie's angels'.

he reminds me of a cross between hedwig (the tranny rock star, not the stupid owl) and azrael abyss from SNL's "goth talk".

When I saw him on the MTV Awards, he looked like the Dead Or Alive guy, Pete Burns. Well, his son/daughter anyway.
