Damizza has been served a Cease & Desist notice from Mariah's lawyers in connection with the pending release of his tell-all autobiography, "Guilty By Association." According to a press release sent by his co-writer Eddie Gurrola dated August 7, 2008, the book, reportedly scheduled for release at the end of this year, Damizza will be revealing the following about Mariah:


"In "Guilty By Association" readers will be treated to the behind-the-scenes stories of some of Mariah Carey's biggest hits -- and her incredible comeback after the disastrous "Glitter" fiasco, orchestrated through her triumphant post-9/11 Super Bowl performance. And for the first time anywhere, Damizza finally goes public with the ups and down of the intense four-year personal relationship they shared and worked diligently to disguise from the world's press."


In a blog entry on his MySpace dated September 9, 2008, Damizza wrote:


"I think her lawyers think I'm gona say sumthing bad... 1 problem.. She wasn't mentioned on my blog.. Hmmmm"

I can't fault anybody for being fiercely protective of their personal lives, people have no respect for boundaries and will tell on their OWN children just to sell a buck these days. I guess I'm not big enough of a Mariah fan to know about her and Damizza's relationship.

I love Damizza's production though, I have his solo album that had the hit "Where I Wanna Be" with Nate Dogg, Kurupt and Shade Sheist.
