I think this is a "covers" album

It's ok. I am a bit disappointed. I was hoping that whoever produced them would try to keep them true to their sound ( with a modern twist), similar to the way Chaka Khan did with "Disrespectful". I won't judge until the album comes out. Gamble and Huff produce some tracks on the CD. I wouldn't have minded a Prince track or two. Labelle could pull it off.

That song is horrible. I couldn't even hear Nona and Sarah. I should have known with Wyclef on it.

So Sad that a Producer that's established as Wyclef feels the need to dumb down his music to sound like the "in Now " Producer Akon..

If he stayed in his lane he could have given Labelle something a lot better

These ladies should have listened to Chaka Khan's last CD 'Funk This'.It's a funky,retro-sounding album in which Chaka ignores current trends (for the most part) and concentrates on gritty,Rufus-styled funk and R&B.That's exactly what I was hoping we would get from LaBelle.
