I'm currently trying to start my Laura Nyro collection and I can't stop playing the Eli and The 13th Confession record. Is the Gonna Take A Miracle album worth seeking.

As for the new Labelle song, I don't even know what it is. I'll be sticking with the Chameleon and Nightbirds LP's tho. lol

That was not good. It sounds too modern. Like Cher with those effects on the vocals. sad

It's ok. I am a bit disappointed. I was hoping that whoever produced them would try to keep them true to their sound ( with a modern twist), similar to the way Chaka Khan did with "Disrespectful". I won't judge until the album comes out. Gamble and Huff produce some tracks on the CD. I wouldn't have minded a Prince track or two. Labelle could pull it off.

I don't think I like this song at all confused I was hoping for a retro-sounding jam from LaBelle.

Yeah,I'm hoping that there are stronger songs on the CD.This is a project that I want to be excited about, but the first single is disappointing.

I pray that this song isn't one of the Gamble and Huff productions. They're soooo much better than this.

That song is horrible. I couldn't even hear Nona and Sarah. I should have known with Wyclef on it.

So Sad that a Producer that's established as Wyclef feels the need to dumb down his music to sound like the "in Now " Producer Akon..

If he stayed in his lane he could have given Labelle something a lot better
This is dis-respecting these ladies talents

Hope they have some better tracks coming soon...

These ladies should have listened to Chaka Khan's last CD 'Funk This'.It's a funky,retro-sounding album in which Chaka ignores current trends (for the most part) and concentrates on gritty,Rufus-styled funk and R&B.That's exactly what I was hoping we would get from LaBelle.

I think i agreed awhile back when someone stated that this could
be a train wreck waiting to happen. I'm just hoping these ladies
aren't trying to drop it like it's hot in their sixties. I would
personally prefer new solo albums but i hope the ladies do well.
Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint
