Yuck !!!!! Guess who else is opening for Janet ? Donnie Klang to open for Janet on Rock Witchu Tour
R&B/pop singer Donnie Klang, best known as being a contestant on Diddy's Making the Band 4, told Rap-Up.com last night at the MTV Video Music Awards that he will be opening for Janet on the Rock Witchu Tour. It had already been announced that rapper LL Cool J would also be opening for Janet on select dates of the tour. Klang said that he does not know yet which dates he will be performing on. "It's still in its early stages, so I just found out," he said. "My managers just kinda sat me down and they said, 'Listen we got some news for you,' and they told me the Janet tour - it's the national tour. So it's looking like it's gonna be all the national dates." This Mofo better not be opening for the NJ and NY shows i'm attending [Edited 9/8/08 14:18pm]

I've never heard of the guy but anybody connected to Diddy is good enough reason to show up late. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

ILL!!!!! He better not be opening next month in Jersey. I will bring Tomatoes with me if he does. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I hope it will be an 'either or' and not Donnie AND LL. I can't take two opening acts. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

That is all kinds of suck but it will most likely get asses in the seats that might not otherwise see Janet. Could help her win over the keeds.
I was thinking I wasn't going to go see her for various reasons (partially money....I just got massive unexpected bill) but I am happy that LL seems to be the opening act for Janet in Detroit. I would like to see him go through some of the hits and maybe a new track or two. [Edited 9/8/08 18:54pm]

I don't know how sales are going but I was surprised that tickets were still available in CA and I think the show is a little over a week away. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

Shit. I'll take noise bleed seats for that price even with my financial woes. I just sampled the songs from this Donnie guy....I think his music can best be described as aggressively bad dance pop. Just soulless clunky beats and mindless lyrics about getting laid.

Hey,look on the bright side. While this clown is onstage performing,y'all will more time to buy a T-shirt and something to eat You don't have to rush to your seat.
There's no way I would be able to sit through some crap like this.I'd be hanging out in the lobby with my friends.

Janet's always had snoozefest openers. I'm excited for LL but obviously not for Donnie. He will not be playing a lot of shows, that's for sure. She won't have 2 openers and LL is confirmed for many shows already. Donnie will not be at the opening show tomorrow, which I will be seeing.
Janet's show is over 2.5 hours long on its own. [Edited 9/9/08 10:43am]
