Those who want new music should check out 24 Y.O. artist/writer/producer & former Apollo Theater Winner vM, also known as victorMCKOY. vM just released his new CD, "disintegration." yesterday on http://myspace.com/escapefromtrapcity , a 13 song mix of hip-hop, jazz, funk/rock, soul and pop. This is his 2nd release of the year, (the socially aware funk/rock concept album "ESCAPE FROM TRAP CITY!!!" was released in February).

"disintegration." is off the chain. While "longin'" sounds like it could've been released the year vM was born, 1983, it sounds nothing like the rest of the LP. You can hear the full versions of five tracks from the album on vM's myspace site (including the hip-hop/funk single "chocolate poison"), as well as 30 second snippets of everything else.
