My date's in September, I cannot fucking wait

i'm seeing them at lollapalooza in a little over a week.

NIN puts on an incredible show, but I'm not fond of most of the recent output.

i didn't care much for the slip when it first came out, but i gave it a second chance this week and i really like it. it's a good, poppy, hard rock album. if you don't try to squeeze more than that from it, it's a really excellent album.

Got my tix for the 9-6-08 gig in LA!

i was very happy with NIN's lolla set list. the stage show was very impressive too, though i think i was happier with radiohead's stage design. what struck me most with the NIN experience was that it brought together classic material with the deluge of new stuff that's been released this year. the ghosts instrumental tracks work perfectly with new tracks from the slip, and the old classic songs give the new material a shot in the arm. i was very impressed, and i'm even more enthusiastic about ghosts and the slip after seeing the concert last weekend.

Going to see them at Virgin Fest and the 27th and the 29th

i probably know about half of the songs on each playlist, but this my fifth time seeing them and i dig all the NIN heads singing and partying while Trent and his crew host the evening...great experience each and every time
