No the family are victims to Joseph Jackson's twisted insecurites which he beated into his kids on a daily basis, especially Michael from the time he was 5 in the most vile and inhuman way. Something that still happens to alot of families today.I remember watching that Jackson Family variety show and u could hear and see MJ's sarcasim when he said "we're one big happy family" I SAY BULLSHIT! Motown knew what Joe Jackson was like and ignored it, cause they rollin in the dough. That mini-series the Jacksons did 10 years was just a scatch of what really went on in that family...don't be fooled by the smoke screen and mirors. Even janet has alluded that living in that household was stressful. The truth is this when u see the face of MJ today...its is a result of physical/mental domestic violence and self-hatred and that is why alot of us here are either upset or angry to see someone who so beautiful and so talented (u cannot deny that he made great music) inflict that kind of shit on himself.

Michael Jackson said once in an interview that he Never wanted to Look like his father that is why he started having plastic surgery but why look like a White Woman? Why change your Skin shade and Sexual look like that? That is the Strange thing and the Real Question.

The skin thing has nothing to do with surgery...their are pics of him floating around during the 1981 Truimph tour where u can see white spots on his arms wear he is wearing that red short sleeve shirt. Vitilgo affects ppl in different ways some more severe than others and I guess with MJ it got worse over the years to the point where he couldn't hide it no more and had to go that colour via makeup...he be like spotty. Even recent pics u can still see brown spots on his arms and face especially during the HIStory and the TDCAU video. My friend Sonya only has a mild case of it and it not very noticeable cause she can cover her arms and legs...but the pics I've seen with that are severe...if I had that was I want to die! It just so horrible.

It is so sad that his appearance is overshadowing his music and the press spend more time ridiculing him than finding out what really drove him to do it! If this has taught me anyting is this; the nasty things u say about ppl's appearance can affect them in later life and can affect thiier self-worth if they don't have good role models and ppl they can talk to, espeically in MJ's case who was and still is isolated from the world! The same thing happend to Karen Carpenter a producer on the Tonite Show told her she was fat and she was always sensitive about her looks and she went on diet...but like MJ being a pefectionist it was never enough and as a result she starved herself and become annorexic which finally killed her at the age of 32 in 1983!

Dont hate on me, but back in the late 70s, early 80s, MJ was the sexiest man in the world to me. But now, no, he's not sexy at all.

Ok, I have to say something. I haven't been here in like MONTHS, but hell, I have to say my two cents about this. In my honest, blunt opinion, if anyone asks me if I feel that Michael Jackson has sex appeal, my answer would be this: "Hell no. MJ and the word sex appeal do not equal. It is like mixing water and oil." He did when he was younger (meaning 12-30) but died down after the Remember the Time video. After that video, all hell broke loose. This man did not have to go under the knife and I do not want to hear that nonsense about his father telling him that he was "ugly" and his brothers hating on him. But let me tell you something, my parents called me every name in the book (except ugly) and yeah, I felt upset when they call me those names, but I didn't take them seriously. I know that they didn't mean it. It is basically the same exact way concering MJ. MJ took what his father said too hard and now he is paying for it. Let's be real here, people, the man looks bad, esp. when we were all scared when we saw that scary pictures of MJ in court. I mean, LAWD, I saw those pictures and I was like, "damn what the fuck happened to Michael? Wasn't he sort of improving his looks this year? Now he looks like a reject crackhead from Philly." He looks very bad people. He went way too far with the plastic surgery, the man has COMPLETELY lost his mind. I don't know what has happened to him. I adore the man dearly, but this is getting way out of control. He was so handsome, why couldn't he just leave his face alone back in 1987 instead of going to far and then having excuses about it? He cannot fool people, esp. moi. The reality is that yes, the media does go to far and telling society how we should look like, and that kind of pressures have cost reputations (remember Jennifer Gray from Dirty Dancing) and lives, just because people want to fit in. Society and the media didn't tell MJ to go under the knife, MJ hated the way he looked and since he had/has money, he changed his nose and add a cleft to his chin because a bad doctor said so. Also, the reality is that some women, not all (thank god) believe that MJ is this sex symbol. I think these females has some issues of their own to take care of, but don't be surprise when you read that kind of stuff on the net. Oh and Metalbabe, those pictures you have shown means nothig now. Most of them are 15, 14 years old. Another thing, 18, 19, 20 year old females think that (well majority of them) Usher and Justin have plenty sex appeal. If there was a list aimed at 18,19, or 20 year olds asking them what artist, past or present, do they think is sexy, or have sex appeal, Justin and Usher will be numbers one and two, respectively. I doubt if MJ will make that list, or be at least number 101. Oh yeah, the skin disorder has nothing to do with the face. The disorder is genetic, he was going to get it regaldless of the plastic surgery. Think about it, if MJ never went under the knife, he would never be this criticized and he would have looked the same. But since he was such a punk when he was younger, he went the dumb route (concerning his looks) and went under the knife. I know some people who know me from the KOP board will be kinda shock by my post, but hey, I keep it real, ALWAYS.
