As ludicrous as it sounds, he certainly does. Even I can feel a certain "aura" eminating from him, and you just have to go to some of the major MJ messageboards on the net to find he has hoards of female admirers. It's possibly connected to his music and performing. Fine, 20 years ago he was a conventionally GORGEOUS young man... and now... he is not. It doesn't change much if you look a little deeper.

Well, someone in my office called Prince "a girly freak" a couple of months ago when I told her I was going to see him in concert. It's all a matter of taste. Obscure taste, yes, but EVERYONE is different. I personally can't see any sort of attraction in over half the male teen idols of today, but 10 year olds love 'em.

If I had to compare him with Prince I would say HELL NO!but then again alot of these posers (eg Usher etc) don't hold a candle against P. Prince's appeal is that he is both feminie and macho at the same time, and he has the most sexy and expressive eyes I've ever seen on a man (one minute he can be menacing and then the next seductive). Plus he has a great ass IMO Prince is still the sexiest performer alive!!!!!

With MJ its a different vibe, when I seen him concert (with his bros and solo) he does have a special aura about him. In person he seems so frail and childlike...yet on stage he is totally differenly like a man possessed (Destiny, Truimph, Victory and BAD and HIStory tours cleary shows that). Looks wise he was incredibly hot during the Off The Wall era. I wished he stayed that way. But I guess years of physcial and mental abuse at the hands of his father affected him in ways we could never imagine or understand...and that is so sad:( But I still dig him.

On the contrary hes more on an asexual, androgynous vibe he gives off with his wounded animal, big, almond shaped eyes and squeeky voice. The crotch grabbing is half hearted rebellion at best.

Although what goes on behind closed doors is anyones guess...

Eeewww! No. He's crossed that line (or maybe catupulted over it) from being interesting weird to just being icky weird. - No disrespect to his music. Its sad when someone's appearence distracts people from their music, but in this case I'm afraid its happened.

If he had stayed away from the excessive plastic surgery and skin bleaching, who knows how he would have aged. Prince is clearly a fine wine. Just gettin' better with age.

The freaky thing is not that he supposedly has sex appeal..its the women who find him sexy and want him that are freaky.

MJ doesn't want Prince's record sales, and he surely doesn't want Prince's height, but he definitely tried to go for Prince's facial look. And ruined his face in the process.
Like that women in NY who wanted to look like a cat. She was married to a rich man, so she had access to lots of money and she had countless surgeries done on her face. Needless to say, she don't look like no cat. At least not one from this planet.
I think in her case and MJ's it's a tale of access to a whole lot of money and some unscrupulous plastic surgeons that ended very badly.
I was a fan of both Prince and MJ at one time, but over time MJ started to seem like the worlds biggest con artist and his charity work seemed phony and I just lost interest in him musically. I can't really explain it anymore than I can explain why after 25 years after first hearing Soft and Wet on the radio I was standing in line in the blazing hot sun in Chanhassen, MN this past summer to see Prince, up close and personal. And after this years Celebration, I'm sure I'll be a Prince fan for 25 more years.

After reading Michael Jackson: The Magic and the Madness, I'm surprised that he lasted as long as he has. Its funny we tend to get mixed messages from the media...that its wrong to judge people on their race, religion, appearance etc...yet they bombard us on a daily basis with messages of how we are suppose to look and act according body part/celebrity sexy polls and diets to help us in our quest to attain the perfect face and body. As a result we are now seeing an increasing number of men and women devleoping eating disorders and having unecessary cosmetic surgery, and racism within a race, and yet when someone like Michael (who has overdone it in the nose department I might add),we condem him. Michael doesn't deserve our scorn but pity...he is just another talented and gifted peformer who couldn't handle the pressure of fame, because he didn't have a chance to develop a sense of self in the first place!
