Get the Star Time Box Set.

Star Time is the definitive set, Paris is right.

But you can try . . .

Foundations of Funk

Live At The Apollo

20 Greatest Hits

and get a good idea as well.

I recommend the LOVE POWER PEACE CD.....It's from Paris in 1971, including Bobby Byrd, Bootsy & Catfish Collins, and Fred Wesley. It is the epitome of what a tight ass band should sound like!!!!! It's also right before Bootsy & Catfish left Mr. Brown.....
And I DARE say that I light it much more than both the Apollo CD's AND Revolution Of The Mind.....
