Slow Jam of the Day: "Given In To Love" by Lakeside I was watching my DVD, "Solar Galaxy of Stars" this past weekend and the song "Given In To Love" by Lakeside is one of those overlooked songs that I fell in love with. Otis Stokes' falsetto on this one is really great.
Anybody into this one? Andy is a four letter word.

YES!
One of my favorites from the 'Shot Of Love' album! It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

What is the world coming to? I love slow jams but they have to be good slow jams. The kind of slow jam that puts you in the mood of meeting a stranger at 3 o'clock in the morning, taking the motherfucker home, and doing those filthy unnatural thangs that would make the republicans blush....well, all the republicans except for Palin's daughter. Absolutely no adult contemporary type slow songs though. Hell, that leaves out damn near all the slow songs recorded after 1984. Andy is a four letter word.
