Alicia came into our studio a few times 3 or 4 years ago.Her voice is good,better thanmost,but her musicianship has grownand Imuch more respect that.she should do morearrangements.surprise the world with ajazz album.otgherwise, she wase xtremely nice.

Alicia has a decent voice, but too many people are trying to compare her to Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Christina Aguilera, who are all amazing vocalists. Alicia's alleged strength isn't that she is an amazing vocalist; the hype on her is that she is a great all-around musician who has a soulful voice plus musical chops on the piano plus great songwriting skills. All of these are debatable and somewhat overrated at times, but she is considerably better than most popular pop stars of our time.
