George Michael's going to release a Christmas single this year

Wow, he announced it a few days ago. It will NOT be Last Christmas, but a new song written with David Austin.
For all who don't know David Austin, it's GM' childhood pal and co-writer of "Turn To Gold", "Are You Just Using Me", "Look At Your Hands", "You Have Been Loved" and "John And Elvis Are Dead".
GM said it took him 3 years to write the song eek he always was pretty lazy...

anyway, I'm happy he'll release something new and "You Have Been Loved" is easily one of the most beautiful songs ever written. It was sooo moving at his concert.

BTW, David gave the music (means backing tracks) of "John And Elvis" and "You Have Been Loved" to GM, who wrote the melodies to them.

Weed ain´t as bad as they say but it DOES make some people a bit slow. lol
Even Erykah Badu admitted this. Either that, or he just left the song in the vault for a while, very much like Prince does or did with some songs.
George is cool, he should release a bit more uptempo songs again. I really loved the documentary he did a couple of years ago, A Different Story....great to watch, and so much fun and insight. Wish Prince would come up with something like that one day.

Is he still suffering from depression?

WOW! I didn't know there's gonna be a DVD. Not sure if I'm gonna buy it though. I'll wait for some youtube clips...

anyway, finally he offers free songs on his site. As he promised in 2004. I hope more will come.
