Madonna - Take a Bow

Thie is my first Madonna thread, I think. Anyways, i think it´s one of her best songs ever. I just love it.
"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

I like it a lot but she's had so many better ones IMO. Human Nature, Bedtime Story, Secret and Don't Stop are the best songs off Bedtime Stories.

My grandma LOVES the take a bow video though and will bring it up every now and then.

yeah she watches music videos way more than me. She even liked the backstreet boys and I rolled my eyes and annoyed her back with not shutting up about janet and the whole velvet rope thing.

She told me she thought of me when the jonas brothers came, and I was like WTF I don't know any of their songs and don't care LOL

want to hear something even cooler? She always brings up nancy grace to me to annoy her cause she loves her and gets a kick out of me getting worked up over her. And same with Britney Spears, she thinks it's amusing how I constantly bash her, and even told her late sister I like her and I threw a tantrum saying HOW DARE YOU hahah she's fun.

Nope. Money is tight right now and all these concerts are too rich for my blood. I'll have to wait for the DVD. sad

Yeah this is the performance I am always reminded of. Pretty cool for Babyface to do the vocals he did on the recorded version.

Man I used to love me some American Music Awards.

today was my frist time to see it since it aired in 94-95 and i was blown away. though her vocals aren't great it's still amazing to see how fearless she was and was able to pull it off.

She makes the most crap filled albums, but Take a Bow along with Secret are wonderful gems among a few other masterpieces among the pile of poo.

Never been a huge fan of this song. "You'll See" is 10 times better. It's actually my least favorite track from the masterpiece that is BS.

Her vocals sound great on that AMA performance though - I remember seeing that so clearly.
I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

Madonna's a producer creation, so Iam wondering who produced this? Its very MOR and dull LOL. I know she worked with David Foster, I hope its not him, as he is one of my favs. Anyone know?

Without looking it up, I'm pretty sure it's produced by the two artists.

nod For real, why else would Babyface be doing a cameo? rolleyes Yes, this is in my top 10 faves BUT I prefer the Steve "Silk" Hurley remix. I like the quiet storm R&B flava to it. music
