i guess its good, for this type of music. I was expecting more pop/dance. but a lot of it sounds like typical generic hip hop. alot of the songs sound the same.

I heard they are still trying to attract the teeniboppers, which will probably spell BOMB in sales as no kid today will even remember them first time around. They should be passed that now, and were even by "face the music" in 1994
I probably will pick it up, but as I said, they grew on "face the music" (one of my all time fav albums), and even Jordan grew alot on his rather good debut album, so this sounds like its gonna be a step back. Shame. Bytheway, the rather neat "summertime" was produced by Hakeem of the boys apparantly? Great to see him back if it is. | |

Yeah, Donnie sang quite alot of the leads off their first 2 albums. Then by "step by step", only one song (the goofy as hell, but oh so much fun "stay with me baby"). I dont mind Donnies voice on those old songs LOL | |

All NE members are on it except Bobby and Mike, who let it be known that they were not down for the collaboration at all. Mike said (from his MySpace): "I've been receiving a lot of questions concerning the New Edition collabo called Full Service. The answer to your question Am I on the song is unfortunately no I'm not. In my 25th year of trying to celebrate the struggle we've been through, this particular opportunity I chose to sit on the bench. I wish the project a lot of success and to my man Ricky make sure you rep O.P. to the fullest and keep your game face on." If they took that stoopid vocal effect off of it, you could have heard them better. | |

I'm an old skool blockhead and didn't have high expectations for this new album. But I really dig it.
