This thread reminds me: I still need to pick up the remastered 'Inseparable' CD that was released awhile back. [Edited 8/31/08 13:17pm]

I agree, her 70s albums are amazing I wish I could get excited about her upcoming disc 'Still Unforgettable' but it looks like she's trying to re-live her 1991 glory I wish she could go into the studio with Gamble and Huff and create a stunning R&B album....a soulful,retro-sounding album. She still has an amazing voice, she just needs the material.

I see what you mean, she tends to play it safe, like with her last album, which had only 1 (i think) new song.

The last album was okay (for a covers album) but I got bored with it very quickly.Cover albums never hold my interest for very long, which is why I want Natalie to record an album of all-new material. She could show these young R&B female artists a thing or two!

It sure is. As for the 1980s though, the only thing I like from her is "Jump Start" and the house version of "Pink Cadillac". Her slow stuff during the late 1980s was horrible Shitney Houston-ish type slow stuff. But as for the 1970s though, she had some great stuff both fast and slow. Andy is a four letter word.

This is one of her best songs from the 80s....

speaking of "Pink Cadillac"....the album version that appears on 'Everlasting' is a snoozefest. The single version is actually a remix, and it sounds so much better!
