I have been listening to this album a lot in the past 2 weeks. It is better than anything he did at Arista.

His Motown stuff is much better than his Arista stuff. He sold out to pop after he went over to Arista.

True, but I do like his first Arista album....the one that was released in the summer of 1984,with the singles "Dynamite","Do What You Do" and the excellent duet with Michael,"Tell Me I'm Not Dreamin" music With all the MJ discussion that goes on here,I wonder why no one has started a thread about that great song.

I just bought this LP last week. I guess Jermaine didn't really have hits until he got to Arista, but his Motown material is solid for the most part.

He was definitely trying to get his Marvin Gaye groove on with this song. The closing track 'Beautiful Morning' is very smooth also.
