Groups like RH FACTOR... I L O V E the Rh factor...I love how they mix r&b, neo soul , funk and small elements of hip hop into their jazz sound. However they only have 3 CD's and Im dying to hear more of this type of a fusion sound, especially from todays artists. What other groups are doing this type of intrument driven fusion sound these days....Im dying to buy their CD's!

Oh, me, me! Love the RH factor (hardgroove) as well! Just to get a glimps of what they do live, check this out: http://sites.nps.nl/jerom...99C4E4C33E Then, your question, there is a very recent cd which has the same sound. Searching... can't find it, will be back in a few days...

On another note, Roy's group show up every now and then on John Mayer's album Continuum. Very subtle, but they're there.

Yea ur right..I was reading the liner notes on that CD when it first came out and I smiled when I read that Roy was playing on "I Dont Trust Myself..." I found another nice funk fusion disc by The Headhunters called Survival of the Fittest

Only their last album -D-miles- sounds like the RH-factor. They previously did some easy listening, loungy, electro jazz. [Edited 8/25/08 15:32pm]

I was just playing "Pastor T" a couple of days ago. Don't sleep on "Distractions" either. Its a good record. Its different from the style of Hardgroove but its still good. A little more contemporary but hot nonetheless.

I was kinda disappointed bu distractions. It wasn't as focused as hardgroove. Perhaps someday I can judge it on its own merit, but not yet!
