Show your love for Queen's "The prophet's song"

One of my favorite queen songs! headbang

Oh oh people of the earth
Listen to the warning the seer he said
For those who hear and mark my words
Listen to the good plan

This is always the song in my book! Whenever i hear the praises for Bohemian Rhapsody, i say, just listen to this song!! From one of the best bands of all time, far superior to the many other rock bands that have gotten more praise

I always consider Bohemian Rhapsody more of a studio mixing , multi vocal take masterpiece.

As for The prophet's song, it's superior because of the superb passion Freddie and the Boy put into it

Yeah honestly i have never seen that kind of passion since, with the exception of maybe Extreme when they recorded "III sides to every story" and their new album "saudades of rock" they are the only band that I think understands what Queen was.

Talking about Extreme. My mother is very close to Nuno Bettencourt's older brother!

(I am from the Azores just like the Bettencourt family!)

They are the shit!! I have always said they were one of the best bands that just happend to get ignored because of one damn ballad and then got lumped into a category and dismissed. A great combo of Gary Cherone and Nuno very similar to what Brian May and Freddie were, very passionate, and proud of what they are doing with music.

Even here in Portugal they were only know for that ballad...

Nuno produced some wicked stuff with another azorean called Lucia Moniz. Very cool stuff.

The stuff he and Gary did in Extreme is amazing, obviously the ballad is all they were known for. But that third album back in 1992 was one of the best of the decade, its unreal, and the new one just released, is very close to being on that level again, very Queen like.

Totally agree, when i see these best of Guitar lists and Kurt Cobain and Jack White are in the Top 10 and Brian May is 57, i get sick to my stomach
