Empress	I can't really say that I hate anyone, but those that I have no respect for whatsoever are: Rick James (sexual and physical abuser) Britney Spears (no talent at all) Ashlee Simpson (see above) Paris Hilton (see above) Guns N Roses Stone Temple Pilots Black Eyed Peas (mostly Fergie) And, just about every hip/hop artist going. Not all, but damn near close to all.

How can you put Rick's name on that list with those other 'artists' of a lesser calibur. He was an abuser alright, a substance abuser, which opened the door to his other problems, but regardless, he was a hell of a musician.

i don't know what his damage was, but i'd love to see that interview just to know in what context he thinks he is so prince-like. lol

i dunno why he's "disowned" MV but there have been a few mentions of it in interviews/profiles of beck for his new album. i've read a couple of stories now that have said "don't go to beck's tour expecting to hear songs from 'midnite vultures', because he won't have anything to do with the album." shrug
