It's time for the REAL Musique....Push push in the bush y'all

Alright, since we're talkin' about Musique and thangs, it's time to throwdown the real jam from the original owners of the name ...."Push Push In The Bush". I know the bush is my favorite place to be. A bush so thick that birds could build a nest in it. lol

Give it up for those bad bitches, Musique, dammitt!

Man vain, I did a thread on this song a long ass time ago...DEFINATELY one of my all time favorite disco songs. This song is BANGIN'. Just goes to show how free the 70's were. The lyrics are as sexual as u can get. "Push push, in the pussy!"
SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
nammie "What BGZ says I believe. I have the biggest crush on him."

"Keep On Jumpin" is excellent too.A perfect disco number with an extremely fast, relentless beat.

I love that song! One of the best disco songs out. They don't have it on iTunes but my friend had it and I was able to put it in to my iPod. Now I can jam to it!

Push push in the bush music
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I've only heard the song. I've never seen a picture of the group before. Two of those ladies do look kinda like dragons now that you mention it. lol

Now that you mention Jocelyn Brown, I've never heard "Keep On Jumpin" by Musique but Jocelyn Brown did record a song by that same title in the mid 1990s with Martha Wash. I bet it's a remake of Musique's.

Yep,it's from 1997 and it's a remake of the Musique track.

but make no mistake...it's not nearly as powerful as the original 1978 version by Musique.I know that you would really like the Musique version, because it's so fast lol The tempo is really fast and pulsing, just like "In The Bush".

Yep. I said earlier that two of them look like dragons. The one in the red dress and the one in the dark dress in the back. The one sitting down in the blue dress looks like the youngest of Sister Sledge.

Interestingly, when the first album 'Keep On Jumpin' was released in 1978,they used three models on the cover

When people heard "In The Bush" and went out to buy the album, they probably assumed that those three girls were the ones singing on the record, lol.
