Kool and the Gang - Too Hot Beautiful jam.
"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really donĀ“t like the idea that he could have it all."

Great slow jam from the disco era. Andy is a four letter word.

Kool & The Gang (with JT Taylor) was one of the best funk/r&b music bands ever! JT was the man
Whatever happened to JT?? Why did he leave the band? Ok he wants to be a solo artist - but now? why isn't he back with them. I got a Kool & the Gang DVD a few years ago and they had a fake JT Taylor with some young guys in the band - what was the worst is they were rapping in the concert! Does anyone know a DVD Concert with Kool of the Gang's prime? The JT Taylor Years?

J.T. left the band in 1987,recorded a few solo albums that didn't do very well,re-joined the band in 1995 for the 'State Of Affairs' CD,then left the band again in the late 90s.I wouldn't be surprised if he re-joins the band again someday for another reunion CD and tour. When J.T. left,I stopped paying attention to Kool and The Gang.Initially, they had to hire not one,but two lead singers to replace him.He was truly their greatest lead singer.I can't imagine hearing classic songs like "Celebration" and "Get Down On It" with another vocalist. Does anyone know a DVD Concert with Kool of the Gang's prime? The JT Taylor Years?
There is a "Live" DVD from a 1982 concert.I've never seen it myself, but I think this is the cover:
