Wendy Williams on the members of DC Did anyone catch Wendy Williams' talk show on Wednesday? Wendy was mentioning that Beyonce is coming out with a jewelry line. While telling the story, she brought up how Michelle and Kelly were Beyonce's background singers during their tenure with DC. She later went on to say that when Michelle was on her show a few days ago promoting her new project, she said she asked Michelle about the possibility of splitting from Matthew Knowles. Wendy stated that she had expressed her feelings to Michelle that she would never have a chance to be successful as long as she Matthew was her manager.
She went on to explain that Michelle's album is set to drop next month...around the same time as Beyonce's new single. I'm so glad that someone finally had the balls to say that publicly. Until now, it has always been Beyonce and everyone else. Kelly's project would have done MUCH better if she hadn't been under the wings of Matthew. Wendy Williams is the Bomb! I am a big fan of her radio and TV show and I'm over the moon that her show is being renewed and coming back mid 2009! Take that Haters!!!!!
As for what Wendy said about Michelle and DC, she's right. I didn't even know that Beyonce has a single coming out next month but it is a setup for Michelle to fail and Beyonce to be huge because B is one of the biggest stars on the planet. Michelle needs to RUN as far away from Matthew Knowles's management ASAP cause the only one who seems to have big success from there is Beyonce. Hell, I'll be shocked if Solange, Matthew's other daughter and Beyonce's sister, has even half as much success with her new CD as B will wind up having with the new CD. Sad thing is Michelle's Break The Dawn single is great but are we hearing it on the radio? I know I'm not. How YOU Doin? I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". On the topic of Michelle's CD. She is going to surprise a lot of people. Her CD is mostly up-tempo dance music. She didn't make the mistake of trying to compete in the same musical arena as Beyoncé. She's got about three or four that can go on R&B stations ("Thank You", "Stop This Car", "We Break Til Dawn part 2" and maybe "Unexpected") and aside from a couple of pop songs, everything else is electronica beats and auto-tuned voices. Keri Hilson is gonna kick her ass when she sees her. She went in a completely different direction, which was a good idea on their part. I'm not sure how well it will pay off, but it was a good idea. I guess we'll see. | |

I was not a fan of Wendy's until I started watching her show. I now love, she's real in her fakeness and owns her messiness and tells it like it is. In this age of political correctness and walking on eggshells to appease these no-talent, mediocre celebs, I appreciate what Wendy does.  I hate that it'll take a year for her to come back though.
As for Michelle, she looked and sounded high when she was on the show the other day. But Wendy's telling the truth about Papa Knowles.  | |

Why is it that people give credit to loudmouth gossips for being "real" when they lie all of the time? She talks about peoples' personal lives like she's there in their bedrooms and knows what's going on and people accept her word as gospel sometimes. She talks about peoples' clothes and hair when they look nice just to get her minions to repeat her hatred and when she actually IS telling the truth about something, ikts usually something that the person she's talking about doesn't want spread around.

Regardless of what Wendy says, MOST celebs spend a whole lotta time using the media to sell/promote their false image, dumb products, whack albums, sorry ass movies, etc. They use and trade on their private lives like it's a commodity, inviting the press and the public into their bedrooms and private lives depicting them as camera ready perfection and trying to make the rest of us think something's lacking in our own lives. When in truth, their mansions are built on sand, and the image is airbrushed to death. That, and all kinds of, hypocrisy make me sick. 
So why get all up in arms when somebody calls these celebs and public figures for the hot messes that they REALLY are? If they didn't open the door people like Wendy wouldn't have much to say. And no matter what people say I like that there's someone calling them on their shit instead of pandering to 'em like most media outlets do. These celebs can't have it both ways. What a load of bull. Its an artist's JOB to promote their CDs. ITS THEIR JOB! Who the hell makes music and movies only to NOT try to get people to listen to and watch them? Come on, now. You're reaching with that one. Yes, there are celebs that exploit their fame and sell their private lives. They get what they deserve. That doesn't excuse the attacking of people who DON'T do it. I recall there being some sort of mix up with that Method’s wife’s situation. I can’t remember what it was but Wendy addressed it more than once and apologized for it. Method has since stopped by the station to come on the show and they’ve made amends but the clip remains a hot clip. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off | |
