I love Vanishing. It is one of my favorite tracks from her ever. It's amazing that a teenager wrote that song.

Does anyone have the middle picture of Mariah from that Vanishing clip? Could you post it, please?

My favourite Mariah piano song is Looking In

That cd was her absolute BEST.

I wouldn't go that far. I still think her best album is Daydream. The debut is good, but (to me) sounded too much like Celine Dion's English debut and Basia's English work. Not bad...just a little too early 90s for me.

No. Her debut, is by far her best cd. This is when she used her voice and it's range as an instrument. Every CD afterward except for the the last two, sounded very gimmicky.

from the way she speaks about that song, you can tell she holds it in high regard.

she said it was the result of a very inspired moment.

and speaking of the her debut, she also said that album was way rawer on her demo than the final result because the lable wanted the songs more slick sounding.

now i'd seriously to KILL to hear Vision of Love on that demo

I Wish You Well is in the same vain as Vanishing, though not as gorgeous, but definitely an underrated gem in my book.
